PowerHouse is collecting non-perishable food items for Church International’s food pantry. For every 5 non-perishable food items your child brings, his/her name will be put into a drawing for a $50 gift card from Toys R Us. The more items they bring, the more it will increase their chances for winning. In addition, the one bringing the most items, will get to shave Mr. Dave’s mustache off. (Mr. Dave has had his mustache for almost 20 years)
With the holidays coming up, this is a great opportunity to help others in need. It is also a great way to teach our children the importance of giving to others.
(PS: You don’t have to be in PowerHouse to bring in food items.) There will be a drop-off point in PowerHouse for those of you interested in giving to this worthy cause.
